Mason's Baptism

On Sunday morning we left St. Louis bright and early to drive to Springfield for Mason's baptism. Crazy to think that this is the first baptism I've been to since Heidi's, aside from sitting through them for random people at church. We got him a cute bank that looks like Noah's Ark, a gift that in time will keep on giving :).

Afterwards we had a great homemade mostacolli lunch and sipped on some pretty good wine, which Lindsay's brother was quick to point out as I went for a refill was "Mommy's Time Out" pinot grigio. Lovely...

The ride to Springfield was our second road trip of the week, we had an unplanned mid-week trip to the suburbs last week to attend my aunt Linda's visitation and funeral. We of course got stuck in 13" of snow in Cary, the funeral was actually moved back a day so we ended up missing it since both Rog and I and Larry had things going on Friday. Really makes me glad we live south of the snow line!
