New Pics

I hadn't uploaded pictures for awhile (about a month, maybe), and thought this weekend might be a good time to do so!
The oldest one of the bunch - Brynnie the (pink) Pooh 1 month ago when it was cold enough to need this.
Modeling her hoodie and Euro jeans over the weekend, which apparently doesn't excite her!

Tummy time

American jeans and her favorite accessory

This one just makes me laugh. Both have the deer in the headlights look :).

Now for the One Month Pics

We're 10 weeks in this week, which seemed to be the ideal time for us to post Brynne's one month pictures :). We've had these for a while, but they weren't available online, I had to remember to take them to work, scan, them, and so on. Soooo six weeks later, here you go!

Too sleepy to even try for a posed shot

The "grandma" shot

This one is G rated (and blogspot approved) simply because she's covering herself with her forearm.

Lanky Little Girl

I had every intention of posting some pictures we had taken about a month ago (yes, I'm behind), but I cannot log in to my work servers from home for reason tonight. So irritating! Glad I didn't have anything important to actually work on! :)

Brynne had her two-month doctor's appointment last week and continues to narrow the gap, catching up to some of the bigger kids her age. She grew considerably since our last visit, 2 1/2 inches in length! She also picked up almost two more pounds, weighing in at 9 lbs. 14 oz - which is in the 20th percentile, but she more than makes up for the downfall in weight with her height, the 70th percentile.

Looks like she may be tall and skinny, which definitely is better than the counterpart!

Go You Redbirds!

My parents started me out young as a Redbird fan, and Brynne is following a similar path. She's seen several ISU games on TV, but went to her first college basketball game on Sunday at the Valley championship game.

We figured she'd be OK with all of the noise, but weren't totally sure. She was awake during the starting lineups, watching all of the lights and enjoying the music, but shortly thereafter it was lights out until it was time for lunch. Unbelievable that she could sleep through a crowd of 20,000 people yelling!! She was on Larry's chest almost the whole game, maybe he's some sort of a sound barrier.

Erica and Jon brought the twins, but Lane was not too pleased with all of the noise and spent most of the game on the concourse.

We all had a good time, just wish the 'Birds could have pulled it out!

Bridal Shower With Babies

Last weekend we needed to get out of the Lou for bit, and headed to Springfield for a bridal shower for our friend, Tahney. We also got to meet Heather's little girl, Addison, who was born a month ahead of Brynne.

Brynne was extremely well-behaved at her first shower. After she ate, she kind of took it all in for a bit and then slept the majority of the time - even while she was being passed around!

Rog came along for the ride and met up with some of his friends while Brynne and I were at the shower. Much to the grandpa's delight, we got to have dinner with both sets of our parents. Getting the grandpas to hand Brynne off to the grandmas was next to impossible! She won't be spoiled at all...
